A Poem by Kyle Jordan Eller

Archaic questions

Excuse me, Mr.moon ?
Do you get tired and worn?
What about when seasons change?
You've been here from genesis

Excuse me, Mr.Sun?
Are you frail from many dawns?
Have you been burning too long?
The universe knows your name

Earth do you mind, the caretaker's light?
Vibrant, incandescent causing life
Making your surface blossom and grow
What would you do without their glow?

Are you all in endless cycle, a continuum?
Is it tiresome exerting all that energy?
From dust, dirt, daylight, and dark
The weary titles you hold does it get old?
