A Poem by Kyle Jordan Eller

Title:Rewind

Take me back into nostalgia

Where pages are brown and old

Pictures are sepia dreams

No one has heard the future told

Lead me down cobbled stone streets

Light up lanterns to guide my feet

Sweet smells of old fashioned ways

Meetings of friends around hand made tables

Give me fireplaces, scarves, and mittens

Woods with untouched brilliance

Seeing old museum pieces alive

Listening to nature once more

Resume the giggles of children in the streets

Set free good nature and warm hellos

Somehow It’s a concrete and silicone jungle

Can’t we just go back
