Existence

Existence

A Poem by Kyle Jordan Eller

Here it is again reeling at my mind
Eating away at my soft soul
Apathy eroding these silver dollar eyes
Verses playing on until my head spins around
Everyone is looking in but am I looking out of this mask
Never seeing the rain only the lining of the cloud

As I watch patiently on the horizon for angels
Now intensely waiting for understanding
Desperately I cling to what I think I know

Hypocrites and soothsayers Are all around
Everything is a bursting enigma
Leaving moth eaten holes in my books
Letting in the mysteries I will never understand
