Reflection

Reflection

A Poem by Kyle Jordan Eller

Looking into your eyes I see
Over many centuries gone past
Volumes have become elapsed
Every time I think of infatuation, I scream

All along It’s been you
Never coming through
Dying in my subconscious

Holding you in my arms, unattainable
At most your soul is a derailed train
True lying is a great mask, but it will never last
Evoking wholesome ideals minds have peeled

My Reflection is the heart
I knew from the very start
Revealing all the truth of the soul
Reposing the minds duality
Over and over analyzing
Reveling into your form casting mine
So I sit here looking into myself
