A Poem by Fuzzy_Poluzah

Sanity has been difficult to grasp in the last decade,

Having gone from skin as smooth as mangoes to indentations and mountains of puss over our skulls,

We long for somebody to love us for the imperfections we bare and for the way that we live,

But fail to do the same for others, but not for lack of trying,

More for lack of empathy, and apathy from the substance abuse,

Too afraid of our own chemistry to even attempt to let things fall into place the way nature intended.

Great line. You have a talent for going deep in the psyche.
