You always smell good

You always smell good

A Poem by Fuzzy_Poluzah

I know that you

have freckles all over you,

mapping out your entire existence.

You always stop me from counting them,

The highest I'd ever counted was 86.

There's a birthmark on your right hand.

You like when I trace it,

and you love when I play with your fingers

but you hate when I touch your hair.

You love your hair more than I do

And you always smell so good (to me at least).

It's easy to make you laugh

And your laugh is the most beautiful sound

that I've heard in quite some time.

It's pretty hard to make you cry,

And I hope that I've only ever made you laugh,

But I know you've shed tears on my account.

You like it when the temperature is just right,

With a little bit of sunshine

Warming the parts of your skin that it can touch.

I know with all my heart and soul

I am in love with you,

I believe in you

And I've never been one to believe in much

At all.

Actually, I think this is one of the most romantic poems I’ve ever read. It’s real and void of all that overwrought mushiness that passes for romance. Love is when you are comfortable with each other. I miss that.

Sorry to hear that you are a human being. I tend not to get along with those things.

That was beautiful!! I think the only thing anyone ever noticed about me was that I left.
