The fishing trip (Colab)A Poem by Wild RosePicture by Wild Rose Story by intothemilkyway Guiding Light photo by Wild Rose
On the water break it stands light scanning across the open sea There, there at the center. ''I think i saw something'' And the light comes in.
"You fool" "Don't let it go away" And up it goes, while i look down in dissapointment. "Were we supposed to catch it?" "Sure, why are we here for?" The light coming from the lighthouse comes across my face And im blind for a second where i can't see a damn thing.
And in that mili second many thoughts cross my mind. But why was i here, what did i really want to catch. Everybody is in their postion, while im really just put in place. It's like i can move but i can not. Im feeling strange.
If only my life was like the light of the lighthouse. Guiding away the boats to their destination. Mine was turned off, no lights at all. They go round and round but still end up crashing somewhere.
I grab an apple and i eat one side of it. As im biting it in my mouth, Im thinking how life is like this apple. Sweet and sour at the same time.
I spit it cause i didn't like the taste. I had nothing against life but, I simply don't like apples that much. Im more of a strawberry person.
"Why don't we got strawberries here again?" ''Are you a guard or a market seller?" " I was just asking" "Better watch the light so no boat crashes with another"
Indeed, he was right. Just like me, crashed with my crash. Crashed with life. In this ''nasty'' job, But i like it, So why not.
