The SeatA Poem by Wild RoseWoodland Wandering The Seat Strolling through the forest By a mountain brook I happened upon a place to rest
A strong and sturdy wooden seat At a parting of the ways A bridge for to cross the stream
Or prhaps To follow the stoney path Higher into the towring hills
Here I will sit and ponder At the wonders of nature About this place
Rowan trees Not yet with berry Witches will not dally here
The fairy toadstools Quite a village Do they frolic unseen In this quiet pleasant place © 2019 Wild RoseFeatured Review
