LifeA Poem by Wild RoseLife is a constant Battle
Struggling on our way To meet targets Or better things
Attending night school Moving home Slowly climb the ladder
Attain higher job Retire from work A new life begins
Time to fill Try new hobbies Take a cruise
Longer trip planned No one goes for so long We do and lots like us
Do you still drive I'm only seventy But I mean - So old
Wait until you get to my age I'm still fit Fitter than you
I am not going to sit watching the flower grow I intend to enjoy life You can sit and watch the flowers
If you want Just don't expect me to join you Until I am forced to do
Bye must go now to join the cruise © 2018 Wild RoseReviews
