We change the clocks tonight

Spring forwards

Fall Back

Forwards one hour

Oh an hours less sleep

 

We changed the clocks yesterday

I forgot the alarm

So we slept in

Don't know where the mornings gone

Why don't they leave them alone

 

It gives the farmers more daylight

So they say

But they cant make the daylight longer

It just means it darker in the mornings

And in the evening you get later light

 

I'm feeling tired now

Remember we lost an hours sleep

We will be going to bed in the light

Wont get to sleep until late at night

Why don't they leave the clock alone

 

Or why not go the other way
Lighter mornings

And darker nights

Think that would work much better

Early to bed; early to rise

 

Make us all healthy and wise

That's what the rhyme says

Anyway

Well maybe !
Why don't they just leave them be

When we set of for the boat we are on the road early > on one trip we were held 5 hours > Miss the boat & you loose your money > same with air lines

I like light mornings and light at night as well. Not one for the dark. I don't mind the extra hour in bed when the clocks go back in the autumn but oh my, losing that hour in the spring, really makes a difference. That my friend takes time to adjust to. Time has always been messed with in the UK for as long as I can remember. I can sense your irritation in these well penned lines. Hope all is OK with you and your beloved lady.

Apart from the weather yes we are OK
Not only the UK > We were camping in Portugal and traveling to Spain the day the clocks changed (Spring time)
Now Portugal is in the same time as UK, while Spain is one hour ahead
So had to change one hour in Portugal, then another hour when we reached our stop just outside Sevilla

Clocks can be a pain when travelling. Just think if the benefits though :)

Time is complicated enough in life. Fall back, Spring forward. Well, It is I suppose for the best. When the season of Fall and winter come along the darkness is kind of foreboding and something we must all jsut accept. What to do? good points above.
