Into the darkness

 

We are walking into the abyss

 

No sign of control or anarchy

 

Only the sounds of people and their screams.

 

Tortured and burned by the light of a fake society.

 

We've seen this light, we've known all along

 

That's why you shun us, why we don't belong

 

To you to lose control is to be dead

 

But we know the truth its all in your head

 

(Quit) trying to shield people from life

 

(They deserve the truth)

 

I don’t care if you don't like it

 

(Shut the f**k up) and deal with it

 

Halfway through the darkness

 

Into a trap we run

 

All your control is now our bliss

 

People scream of shame and shun

 

(Shut up, Shut up!) I won't listen anymore!

 

Society isn't what it should be, so it's up to us

 

We are the leaders of the new revolution

 

Only those with vision will prevail.

 

No more stupid laws to take away our rights, (F**k this dead freedom!)

 

One last word, before the hate engulfs us

 

Stay away, from what we've created

 

It'd be best to quit all your bitchin'

 

Cause' when we come back, there's gonna be...

...Blood to pay

Boy, this is a very powerful poem but so true! Very well written and easy to read. That action zipped right through to the end but I so agree with what you wrote. Your poem puts it very well. Excellent. That is how society is today. Could be it's already too late and everyone will wake up in an awful society and wonder how they all got there when they refused to listen to those who gave them warnings and not in whispers but in screams!
