Let me take your pain away
Help you to confront another day
With a clear head, and unburdened heart
I will help you to make a brand new start
But I can only help to where I'm allowed
No need to push myself into a war with you
Will you let me take your pain and make it mine?
Or will I just sit here in the dark?

I want to help alleviate your mind
All this mess, we can just leave behind
Another year so I'll just sit in fear
Fearfull of making you mad at me
I know you dont want me to go any further
But I feel it's something I must do
Will you let me take your pain and make it mine?
Or will I just sit here in the dark?

You never let me get inside of you
So I could never help you out
But I only wished to further help you
And now I'm left all alone...
Help me, find a way (a way to allieviate this pain)
I need you now more than ever (so much more)

Let me be the one you lean on

The last year I'll wait for you
I have nothing left to do here anymore
We had a fight and now it's over
But I'll still wait for you to come around
Since you wont let me take your pain
I guess I'll just sit here with your shame...
