The beach

The beach

A Poem by .
"

What I think about it...

"
As I walked along the shore,
There certainly was no war.

I could hear the waves
That went into caves
And then came out
Making a calm shout

The wind would softly push
And the noise would be "Woosh!"
As it would hit the warm sand
I would just stand

Sandcastles may fade away
But the kids would always stay

My soul will always live in that paradise
Were my heart will never freeze to ice

I do like this :) especially how you have chosen to break up the verses; the words take the reader easily into that beautiful place, then the last line casts us out to feel the coldness of the present; it's very good :)
