Alone

I feel alone

As if I where

On a lonely darkend street

The wind it brushes against me

While the tall buildings they laugh at me

I feel alone and faint

Please do come and help

I feel like a dog without their master

Like a book without letters

Like an oyster without its pearl

Please go rescue me

I have scars which can not be seen

For they are deep inside me

My heart was broken to many times

And my soul felt lonely for too much time

A pat on the head, a good word now and then, leg pulling by your friends, one has to only notice all this and take inspiration from it all, it is only a matter of perspective, the most popular person may be the most lonely one, the most desolate person might have people to die for and vice versa. Well this was really sad and the metaphors brought out the lonliness in a beautiful sort of way...it sucks when u first start school or are new..some are lucky but im not one of them and this really is how i feel sometimes...but anyway it was an amazing piece:-):-D.

You certainly have a good imagination in your words and the way you express them. I can feel your loneliness as you describe the different scenarios. I like how Katherine described her views and I would agree with her.

Going to school can be a scary thing, but after a while it isn't as bad anymore. You'll find that a lot of things in life are that way at first.

You did a good job writing this poem. I'm not surprised others like it too.

It's a really nice poem. Typo alert on stanza one but a great poem nevertheless.

While the tall buildings they laugh at me: are they teasing you? There are a lot of instances that these happens. Don't worry and try and stay strong it's only today that life's that way. It's only a matter of patience. People tend to release their energy in such inappropriate actions. Feel free to release yours in writing.

Feeling alone is unavoidable. Because everyone is unique and there can't be possibly anyone who can completely relate to us. It means we are one of a kind but all we need is somebody to back us up because they say no man is an island

I love it a lot! School sometimes sucks a lot, but will definitely go through it! Loneliness will soon go away as soon as we have someone worthy to depend on! We all feel alone, or that no one understand, but when we look around, we will soon find out a lot of people is out there to support us!
