You're Not Alone Chapter 9

 “Well now what am I supposed to do?” I asked Michelle, still sitting on the ground.

“What do you mean?” She responded.

“He was supposed to show me around today.” I said.

“Will Thomas Drew Lapacek and Jacob Alexander Firenze please come to the principals office?” I heard over the intercom.

“Who the hell is Jacob whoever?” I said, looking at Michelle.

“Umm… That would be Jake…” She said.

“Oh… god.” I said, getting up.

I walked to the office, and Jake was already there. I sat next to him, and just stared at the floor.

“Were you able to finish the tour yet?” The principal asked.

Jake was about to answer, when I interrupted.

“No. I got sick during the first tour yesterday, and you sent me home early.” I said.

“Alright. Well, finish the tour today, so that you can start classes tomorrow.” He said.

I was about to get up, when he stopped me.

“Also,” He continued. “we have a new student today.”

A new student? Another new student?

“Really?” Jake and I said at the same time.

The principal nodded, and we looked towards the door. There was a guy standing there, with purple hair draped over his one eye.

“His name is Cassandra Joy Lewis.” The principal said.

“CassandraJoy? So can I call you Cass?” I asked.

He looked over at me, nodded, and flipped his hair out of his eyes. He had dark brown eyes.

“What happened to your leg?” He finally said, with a deep voice.

“Oh. A roof fell on it.” I said.

“Do you need any help carrying your books?” He asked.

“No thanks! I have that taken care of!” Jake said, before I could answer.

I looked over at Jake, and he started blushing.

“What classes do you have?” I asked Cass.

“He has the same classes as you.” The principal said.
