AngerA Poem by Crystal TearsI wrote this when I was really mad at some people at my school who had bullied some little kids on my bus. This is what I did to control my temper that day, instead of lashing out at these students.
My anger, so furious and bright,
the offenders of the night,
they tease little ones helpless,
they should stop teasing the ones of happiness.
Anger is my fuel, my energy tonic,
they make it grow, whatever they do,
they cause the children to cry and panic,
those who help the children are very few.
A laugh here, a teasing word there,
why do people do this to the children,
why doesn’t anyone treat each other fair,
cruelty has been forever, in this world, proven.
My anger, my fuel. It stocks up to a big total,
the little ones, precious jewels of eternal joy,
they act like they can live forever, yet they’re only mortal,
this is true for every single girl and boy.
All who tease the jewels of the earth,
should be cast down into the great pit,
have the dark one consume their berth,
on the ones I cast down, on them I spit.
I worry that these people are doomed,
anxiety clouds my eyesight and blinds me,
I am soaked in the world’s drying blood,
I know I’m dying, but only I have the salvation key.
