Regret

Regret

A Poem by CrystalMoon
"

someone who said goodbye to someone else and regrets giving them their heart. they feel as though they never want to see the person's face again.

"
regret sinks deep within me
can't believe i wanted you
love plays the silliest games
it's like our heart is just a toy
you look at me but don't say a word
it's not like things used to be
it is extremely hard to say
but i said that one word
i said goodbye
so hold onto the memories
keep them for yourself
because im tired of seeing your face
in my head like it always was
i will never say im sorry
that is the job you have never done
so leave me here in the tears
like you did before
regret sinks deep within me
