After you lose someone that you truly care about, you run away, so maybe that someone will return after you're gone.

I'm all alone now

You've gone away

And you won't be returning

 

I thought you meant more

I wish you would come to me

My hope is fading

Since it's been so long

Because you won't be returning

 

No one understands

I want to handle this

Now that you won't be returning

 

Tears begin to fall

I run away on my own
