I know this feeling. I dated a boy who was like this.Wore a mask, hiding his real feelings. He seemed like a nice guy but turned out to be quite a bad apple!
I just felt lost... My deepest hope was that he had been real to me. But I guess we'll never know.
A great poem, that I can relate to!
