A few letters on a page

how i feel about exam results

"Aren't you nervous?"

why no I'm not 

because I do not care,

this means nothing to me.

A few letters on a page,

a few letters which show nothing about me.

Grades to fit in with a system,

a severely flawed system.

I'm told I should care

because this defines my future,

well I'm sorry

but my future will not be defined

by a few letters on a page. 

So no I'm not nervous

because lets face it,

if I fail I will not cry

because I am better than a few letters 

on a page.
