You think you know me

because you see me frequently,

when we talk about the things around us

and trivial details of our lives,

sharing anecdotes.

You think you know me

because I tell you stories

and provide quick lines 

which make you laugh. 

You think you know me

because you've seen me around,

seen snippets of my behaviour

and interactions with others.

You think you know me

well enough to judge me. 

You think all those assumptions you made

are all true.

That's the thing though,

you don't know me,

you don't know me at all. 

There will always be a wall between us

and I don't plan on knocking it down.

i think its for someone specifically ...no matter how open we are with people there is always some things that remain with us..i loved that secrecy part in the end..thanks for sharing :)
