Love Language

Love Language

A Poem by CrystalJae

My fingers trickle down your spine until I reach the nape of your back, then grip

Feeling nothing but goosebumps and desire beneath my fingertips

We connect

You stare into my eyes

So big

and bright

and brown

You fall destitute into my universe

Searching for completion between my thighs

Through our mixture of mahogany not a word is exchanged

Just our legs, our hands, our tongues intertwined

I kiss right where it hurts

You stroke exactly where I’m pained

The perfect balance of pleasure

We heal each other’s suffering over and over and over again

Our bodies are a novel you’d think we’ve both read a million times

This is far more than lust

There’s a spiritual longing

A desire

A love language for the ages

Conversations between gasps and moans

Neither of us understand it

Neither of us want to let go…

Between us secrets are safe

Vulnerability is just a word

Together our souls are rested

An ongoing dialogue between the stars

Love language

A passion for haiku poetry began during world literature studies, inspired by its ability to convey profound ideas in a few syllables. Many of these haikus, capturing life's fleeting beauty, are featured in the book Blue Harlequin.
