Walk Away

Walk Away

A Poem by Crystal Gale

He left without saying goodbye,

never knowing he took a piece of my heart.

I see him in my dreams, yet we’re so far apart.

I can’t tell him how I feel without fear,

so I’ll let him go never knowing how I feel.

If freedom is what he wants, I won’t stand in his way.

I’ll carry my memories with me, and I’ll turn and walk away.
