Death's Final Moments

Death's Final Moments

A Poem by Shiningwolf

Losing all feeling

Cold to the very core

The core of my dead body

Helpless in the eyes of the beholder

Emptiness wrapped up in loneliness

Baked with the burning fire of a thousand suns

Awakening on the inside

What a beautiful lie

Flames engulfing my body

My entire existence up in flames

No second chances

Feeling an uplifting

A strike of light enters in before me

Ashes falling around bones

Glowing light so blinding

Piercing through my cold dead heart

Floating in mid-air

What has been done

Can never be repeated

Laughing with the ignorant human race

Clearing up the spots of blur

Paving images into my soul

Carving it deep with unwashed blood

Losing sight of reality

Losing my ties

Breaking off the binding chain

Fading away slowly

Sparkling with new found passion

No senses

And no feelings

A sense of perfection

Is finally achieved

When will you feel it?...
