The Animal InsideA Poem by ShiningwolfThis feeling Coursing through my veins I can't sense what this is But it's trying to change my name.
My body is tingling I can feel the adrenaline rush rise What is happening to me? I cannot decide.
My body is building Like it's preparing to attack What is going on? I can't turn my back!
The heat is rising My chest is pulsing It's getting faster And I smell revolting.
BURSTING out like lighting speed I am on the attack You better watch out These claws are going into your back!
I scream to the top of my lungs Let these insects hear my mighty ROAR! For this I am sure.
No longer am I innocent No longer am I sweet After what these monsters done I WILL NOT BE BEAT!
Take heed to these words You insolent little pests You knocked me down once But now I am better than all the rest! © 2011 ShiningwolfAuthor's Note
