Blades of GrassA Poem by ShiningwolfMischievous little green fingers Popping out of the ground like a giant They do what they want They will be defiant.
Commit no harm as they will Give them time Time to complete their task They have a whole world for us to find.
Giving life from under our feet Nursing the hunger that burns And brings a view Helps when a stomach churns.
They lived here longer than us Covering this world They bring life to many wonders And give us a good whirl.
So many things come from them They complete their task They let the world know its healthy All of this found, in blades of grass.
