All Grown Up

All Grown Up

A Poem by Shiningwolf
"

A young adult is out for his/her first time.

"

Look at that blue sky.

Soon that will be me

I will soar high.

Careless and free.

As I unpack my clothes

And look around.

Silence really is golden.

I don't hear a sound.

I'm on my own now.

And it sure feels great!

But the more I think

The more I hate.

The bitterness inside me

Will surely be known

As I spread my wings,

And let out a groan.

This is it

This is now

I will show my parents

Now I wear the crown.

I will take to the sky

And make my name.

The whole world will know

Now I will get fame.

No more running

No more pain.

I will soar the sky

The world will know my name.
