MY WALLS.

MY WALLS.

A Poem by Crystal-candy

You won't let your ego down.
I've tried to change you,
But this time.
I have to call it 'quits'.
You belittled me.
Made me feel like I'm nothing.
You made me go through my dark past all over again.
You think I have no feelings.
Yeah, that's what I show you.
But,deep down it hurts.
Hurts a lot.
My heart is bleeding,but,
I've built walls,
To help me focus on my mind and not my heart.
I can't let my guard down,again.
Do you think I'm heartless?
Do you think I don't value you?
Do you think I don't understand you?
I guess we are not,
on the same page of this book of fairytales.
You showed me your true colours.
And my heart had to camouflage.
I thought 'you' were different.
I thought 'we' were different.
But,I guess,
I was wrong.
So wrong.
AGAIN.
