As I weep and I cry,
You drink your tea. As I beg and I plead, You pick up a scone. Perfect Lady you are, You wont fathom my pain. Perfect Lady you are, You wont listen in vain. So you go and you eat, Thirteen tea parties this month! While below you feet, I can't even catch my breath. I cry and I cry, You laugh, Oh such fun! But I have to ask, Can you hear me now, Perfect Lady your are. Perfect and pampered, You know just the right words, For you to snatch anyone's heart. How you laugh and you glimmer, I flail and try to stand, But it doesn't matter to you, It never did and it never will. Whenever I was with you, I was exactly the same, Such a Great Teacher you are, So prompt and organised. But if I spoke out of turn, Or asked you one question to many, You turned with a whip in your had, A Tyrant you are. So you threw me in the dungeon, You tucked me away, Not safe and sound under my pillows any more, Locked in a cage, Screaming and crying. But you care do you not? You care about what happens, It's just one thing, You don't realize, Perfect Lady? Great Teacher? Tyrant? Is that I went in willingly, Because you told me I deserved it. I listened, I heard. You don't. And you never did.
