Will You Listen?

Will You Listen?

A Poem by Crystal Marie Rome
"

Not sure what this is about but please read it and comment! =)

"
Will you listen?
To what I have to say?

Will you listen?
To what I have to sing?

Will you listen?
To what I have to read?

Will you listen?
To me?
And only me?

No,
I can see in your eyes,
You aren't listening.

You aren't listening,
With your entire heart,
With your entire soul.

You never listened,
You never heard a word.

You live in your own world,
Alone and forgotten,
I hope you are happy,
That you never listened to me.

You come up with strange topics... but still sweet.

I feel like that with my family :( That's why I joined WritersCafe!!!! I'm listening! And you listen to me, which makes me happy. :)

This subject is easy to relate to. Sometimes, I feel like no one ever listens to me at all, and I take it all out in poetry.
