Joy of My Heart

Looking up at the Stars,

Down at the ground,

My heart fills with feeling.

Unspoken,

And never Showed,

But ever present,

Ever vigilant.

This feeling makes me want to dance,

To sing,

To just open my wings and fly,

Free in the sky.

The endless open sky,

Where joy can run wild and not be stopped.

Locked away,

In a giant cage,

That holds all my feelings.

Over time these feelings grow,

My Joy,

My Love,

My Hate,

My Pain.

I can only wait for the time,

When the Joy of My Heart,

Runs Free.
