They Say

My attempt at writing a sonnet. I am a regular old, Shakespeare, eh? Hope you like it! Please comment and review! :)

They say it is easy,

To drop everything and start anew,

Yet changing makes me queasy,

So I doubt it could be true.

They say it is time to jump,

So I take a deep breath and leap,

But in my throat I get this lump,

The water is very deep.

They say it is the lighting,

That is what makes it dark,

I should not be fighting,

But I have yet to make a mark.

They say I should do what they say,

But they have not even seen the light of day.
