Timing is everything

You hear it all your life

But you never think it's true

Until the one day you're taking separate ways

Until the one day you realize he's no longer the one

Until the one day you see the guy you've been thinking of

A genuine guy

You talk to him

It's all seemingly perfect

But you're timing is off

He has a girlfriend

And he's happy and in love

And you then realize

How important timing is

I'm fully aware now that timing is everything

The time

The love

The guy 

Has to be just right

And it will be....in time

I wonder if the gods don't have a giant plow that pushes aside all baggage...all complications..when it is truly right. Timing is a puzzle to us...it is to me anyway. If it really is to be...the path will be free of all clutter and the spirit will soar...sometimes like children we wish for things that are just not to be..I know I do.
