remainsA Poem by Crystal Overmeyer-Birmingham
Close your eyes
and let me sip the dregs of our love from your lips. Ill try to believe its the heady wine of yesterday. Hold tight me til the last remains are squeezed free and ill act as though i am filled again. Rest your head on my breast and lets pretend this is hello and not goodbye again.
