Heaven on earth

Heaven on earth

A Poem by Crystal Overmeyer-Birmingham

Summer heat flees
chilling our tangled flesh
I breath
you exhale
and so we begin again
I know
this paradise is not found
 in mountain top views
or oasis side resort
heaven on earth is found
in the touch on your hand
on my hip
your lips on my neck
and your voice
resounding my name.

About
I am a poet by nature. Words just speak to me and color my world. I away think of poetry as painting with phases, just as vibrant and life giving as they are messy and complex. more..
