We trample emotions
like leaves both so content in getting mine that we lose ours in the shuffle of self we forget why we even try why we care. Plowing ahead with out even looking back we forge new lands and burn the past singeing our fingers with the embers we throw I long for rainy days A bed a laugh a smile that always turns in to more In the sterile newness of our present I miss the Messy Crazy days that have pasted us by
