UntitledA Poem by Crystal Overmeyer-BirminghamIt is raining today, the rain always brings out a yearning in me, a calling if you will for something that i cant even put a name and form too. Just a soul cry for a missing piece. This is that
Musky earth
wet pavement the smell of rain I open up my door and let it flood my senses I feel your hand reach out I close my eyes and get swept away we waltz on lingering memories suspend in time and motion hand in hand cheek to cheek we spin we twirl somewhere off in the distance thunder bellows and the spell is broken you bow and turn away leaving me soaking in the seas of yesterday
