Love is red like the blood
That has dried in my veins Vitality has vanished Only dust now remains Only a glance from a distance A beautiful sight to admire A fallen angel once pure Then consumed by desire I have to let go To forgive this fate I was looked upon with envy And I looked upon with hate For what dwells within my soul Was sensed from the start A deception so brutal To have broken my own heart Now broken and empty Consumed by my spite With every fear brought to life And every hope left to die © 2015 AeroFeatured Review
