It Sits

It Sits

A Poem by Eliee
"

It sits on my chest, a heavy sigh. Breaking my throat. Tear my lungs out.

"

It sits on my chest

A heavy sigh

Breaking my throat

Tear my lungs out

It leans against my

back. Bending my knees

Down to my toes

Tear out my brain

It curls heavy

Much like broken bones

Sit heavy in their sockets

Tear out my eyes

The monster's ring

Singing praises to devils

And demons and tolerance

Has no place here

About
I like to cry at night, with my partner. I'm wracked with crippling depression, but I get through with sarcasm and a deep set bitterness. I write, I read, as does everyone on this site (I would hope)... more..
