Faded Blue

Faded Blue

A Chapter by Cysmin

I ponder upon these feelings, always black but never blue.
As I stand under the sky and I never see the hue.
Lying next to polluted waters, my life urns to resign.
Like a runner in a marathon that cannot reach the finish line.
I've tried to amend my mind, but you cannot help what isn't there.
Now it sits with the devil as I watch behind despair.
Deliberately I walk away, and on the count of three.
My eyes open to my restless carcass floating down the sea.
