BlessedA Poem by VoicelessA poem I wrote about my feelings about that one person you'll never truly over. Also that wishful thinking that it'll work out in the end. It’s
hard to maintain myself When I’m
around you The
pitter patter in my heart beats faster Similar
to a game of double dutch It’s
easy to let go Tell
you the wonders of this world. My
world Your
world But
the harsh realities Rear its
ugly head I
want to get lost In
you With
you But I
know that I can’t And it’s
not your fault It
never was The
world gave me this sadness It
was chosen specifically for me What
do I do with it? No
clue But
that smile gives me momentary happiness And
the harsh reality hits And I
start counting The minutes The seconds Until
I see that smile again This sadness
was chosen for me The light
may be at the end of the tunnel But until
then I suffer
silently In the
darkness
For this
sadness was chosen for me © 2015 Voiceless |
