Bleeding for tomorrow

Bleeding for tomorrow

A Poem by Scott W. Martin
"

a poem

"

I bleed it out
whats in my head
with great remorse
for those who're dead
yet walk around
with seeming ease
gently guided
by jaded breeze
and oh we walk
and oh we say
I thank you God
for this day
but in our hearts
with a guilt full sorrow
we know that

again tomorrow
we will sin
and never be
alive the way we were intended to be

This speaks for itself. Wow... there is so much truth in those lines that it took me aback for a second and made me think.... really really think.

This is a great poem... from beginning to end. It's message is very strong, and you've conveyed it creatively and perfectly, and with great flow...

Very well done! Thank you for this... :)

And those we think of and who lived before us may have done better would you say? Seems so. Great cadence to this work. Succinct and telling. Thank you for sharing your talent.
