The Warden

The Warden

A Poem by Crow
"

An English Assignment

"
Clad in steel,
The Warden walked forth.
Bearing a blade as he fought his way North.

The darkness envelopes,
the stars flee the sky.
Left desolate knight,
with fear no longer nigh.

He is alone in this world,
with nothing but a sword.
He fights his way forth
Through vast, endless hordes.

And so he is The Warden
A god among men.
Run forth through the eras
With friends of blade and gin.

And when they days grow dull
And hope drains 'way
The Warden will come forth
Cleansing storm of a new day.
