Cero's Poem

Cero's Poem

A Poem by Aerial Perez
"

A poem from the perspective of an original character

"

I'm not what you think I am

I have a soul, but it's too damned

I lose myself at your simple glance

Know you'll give an undeserved chance

I can be cold and cruel

A killer if and when I want to

Oh, I want to, I wanted to

Now I NEED to learn to curb

With you around I've learned love hurts

But I'm no stranger, when you stay

Please, don't take this pain away

I'll fix myself not to worry you

Oh, I hate to

I have to

Tap into something else, somewhere else, into you

Deep within these walls is where I'll be

Finding the monster you hardly see

When I see you aching for more of me

I'll give you more, but cautiously

Brush your cheek then drain you dry

Oh the fantasies of mine

What I want and what I don't

Crave my teeth at your throat

I cannot dream a night away

So up with me, I beg you stay

I'm terrified to hear your mind

But it's screaming for me all the time

Never once, have I lived in fear

Of fragile things That I keep near

But made of glass

You shattered stone

I want you and you alone

I'll pull you close

Take you down

Kiss your lips

Make no sound

Take all your blood

Bare your soul

Make you scream

Until you know

The horror I never want you to face

The side of me that is disgraced

This is my love, Love

Yes, I try my best to be

A Kinder man than you will see

But you chose me as I am

It worries me, you love the damned
