I like the straightforward way in which it was written. You know, my friend, when we were kids we assumed and saw the world as rosy and filled with nothing but sweets in our blissful innocent childhood days. But as we became mature we now realize that, indeed, the world can be such a cruel place; and that's when we learned the hard way and became more cautious of all relationships, far from the carefree and trusting children we once were. Of course, family upbringing and the immediate environment can shape a child's view of the world.
And a relaionship with a woman can be one of those life lessons we learn, whether good or bad.
Conversely, we must also take personal responsibility for our negative input in relationships as well, as self-critique can also be good for us in order to see where we too go wrong. Moreover, love is a two way street, reciprocal in care, patience and forgiveness. And often after trials and tribulations,
soul-searching, we wisen up and learn about ourselves and others in general. That way we learn to be the friend we'd like to see in others, and that also extends to a relationship with a woman we are intimate with.
This is an excellent depiction of this kind of woman, & how men react to her, without using cliches or trite details. Everything you paint is done in original colors & your tone feels like one of acceptance, not judgment (which I very much prefer). The secret to compelling profiles of some type of person is to keep judgment out of it. Just paint what you see & feel, which is what you do. So it feels authentic! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
