My Head HurtsA Poem by CrochetRiePretty self-explanatory.
I'm feelin' kinda blah
today
In a migraine-comin'-on Sort of way Head spinning, vision blurred Comprehension compromised And speech slurred. Aggravated by little voices Tempted to scream At loud noises. Yet, I keep myself composed Not allow my children The life I'd been exposed. At his hand it all started So thoughtless And mean hearted. My life sentence of pain Residual remnants of injury Remain scarred in my brain. There’s no time to look back For now I am a mother And it’s time that I lack. No time for a drunkin' fool! I have errands to run Children to drive to school. © 2013 CrochetRieAuthor's Note
