I look up in amazement,

At your beauty, your grace.

Your calm demeanor, always able to mask

The feelings you conceal.

 

Anytime you need a friend,

Just know that I’ll be here.

No matter what your wounds,
I will help you mend.

 

You are such a great friend to me,

And I now owe you a life.

Perhaps someday soon,

I can repay you back with mine.

 

Any time you need a thing,

Just call out for me.

I’ll be there as quick

As I can possibly be.

 

Now I must cut this short.

I would hate to ramble.

I just want to let you know

How much your friendship means to me.
