It Goes Without Saying

Poem I wrote for a friend.

It goes without saying

That I enjoy talking to you.

Every moment we speak,

I get lost in your words.

You inspire me with everything you say.

 

I just want to say thank you

for all the hope you've given me.

I know you may not think it's true,

But it means more than you'll ever know

Just to think that you'll be there,

any time i need.

 

Alas I'll keep this brief.

I'll end this, short and sweet.

Your beauty humbles me,

and I hope to enjoy your presence more.
