Lost Memories

Another poem I wrote for my lang arts Anthology about change

The rain pouring all around,

The wind violently tumbling down,

Everything simply

Vanished in a flash.

Nothing could be done

To stop what had already collapsed.

Everything crumbled and blew away like sand,

Leaving only a small trace of what had been lost.

Things taken thoughtlessly.

They disappeared.

Without a goodbye,

A bittersweet feeling left in its place.

Rather move on.

Rather forget.

Forget everything that lead up to this moment,

Everything that made this more painful.

I’m now forgotten.

Forever looking back at lost memories

While everyone moved on;

While everyone  changed.
