I'm not fake

I only hide the truth

I am very honest

but no one wants to know

My emotions and feelings are shattered

No one seems to care

When I break

They turn away

When they're in need

They come back to me

I accept

But I tell myself to deny

A smile is on my surface

But my pain is still stuck inside

You seemed to write a biography of my life in this poem. Unfortunately, no matter what stage of life we're in, internal pain and disappointment exists. "When I break... they turn away" rings so true to me. Self reliance is key to survival.
